|
- Children learn to cycle or play ball games by doing, not by reading. While reading "It helps children to learn techniques discovered by others, putting them into practice" is what makes them, ready for the real world.
- Let us prepare children to “Make their way in the real world; a world in which problems about – at home, at the work place, in the community and on the planet.”
- In this age of technology advancement, know - how to acquire and evaluate information, how to use it ? This info is vital, in order to understand and resolve problems. Indeed, it is a prerequisite for most of our children jobs. Today there is an urgency that demands skills of acquiring discoveries, than they were in 19th century.
- Discovery skills from our CHILDREN CIRCUIT LAB focus on three skill groups (with distinctive cognitive skill of each group) – 1) Process skills (Gather information about the world), 2) Reasoning skills (Help children to make sense of the information that they gather by fostering an open mind, curiosity, logic, and a data-based approach to understand the real world), 3) Critical thinking skills. (Require children to apply information in new situations and in solving problems)
|
In our CHILDREN CIRCUIT LAB, children shall make to work on various electric, electronic, solar, wind energies and robotic concepts. This enables them to check and acquire skills of Hands - On realisation modes. These projects not only help them to acquire the hands-on skills experience but also understand how mechanical, electronic, electrical concepts and components are used together in harmony to solve day to day common problems. These cent percent experiential projects make learning fun, enthusiastic and interactive; and made them to acquire those hands-on skills and fortify them to utilize in future.
|
|
- CHILDREN CIRCUIT LAB is a tailored made kit based activity of learning hands-on experience with real components.
- In the past ... all made in Japan !
- At the present ... all made in China !!
- However, it is most essential to happen as Make in India and Made in India !!!
- Of course, it do brings as I strongly believe, through SKILL INDIA @ SCHOOL INDIA !!!!
- CHILDREN CIRCUIT LAB includes, review of Electricity and Electronics fundamentals and building three or more useful circuits using physical components.
|
|
Why Electricity and Electronics ?
- Electric power is the prime driver of progress in our society for the last century.
- Electronic circuits offer major conveniences and comforts to all human beings. They present in the form of either a TV for entertainment or a mobile for communication.
- Almost 40% of most of the high school’s syllabus of science is related to electricity and electronic areas.
The following circuits would be asked by children to build in this program:
- Water Level Indicator .
- Light Sensitive Switch ( LDR Based Automatic Street Lights)
- Clap Switch ( Sound Operated Electric Appliance ON/OFF Control Switch)
- For the motivated students who want to learn and do more; we will offer guidance over email / phone and provide extended circuit ideas. We also support and suggest what type of kits and components need to be bought in order to build their own projects. Schools may also sign up for a year-long program to increase student’s exposure, by allowing them to do hands-on experiments, making use of real components.
- In this CHILDREN CIRCUIT LAB, we generally focus on physics with more concentration over concepts related to modern physics in electricity and electronics. From the experience, we found lot of children got the psychological physics phobia. This we treat those children with special care that they will learn physics by doing in this CHILDREN CIRCUIT LAB workshop. Every gadget is designed in such a way that they connect to one or more physics lessons from all classes.
- Practical models are so designed on important aspect of safety kept in mind. They work on 9 volts DC small batteries to avoid any electrical hazards, while learning the concepts. The child participants are fortunate to be at their early stage of learning. We, with a goal of making them to familiarise with three dimensional practical methods of learning by making.

Here are a few ELECTRONICS kit based learning projects from CIRCUIT LAB. All these circuits are mainly designed and selected to work on 9V DC (batteries). So, there is no risk of 220V AC electricity, and its related hazards.
NOTE: Without proper knowledge of earthing and the risk of AC mains etc, NO child is allowed to work in connection with any electrical & electronic based projects. We are NOT RESPONSIBLE for such electrical hazardous power risks like shocks and injuries. We commit to train children in learning basics more scientifically and systematically from basic fundamentals.
Let us build scientific India together.

Dear Children
Do you want to make and break Electronics?
Here are a few "'ELECTRONICS'" kit based learning projects from “Children CircuitLab”, All these circuits are mainly designed and selected to work on 9VDC i.e Batteries. So no risk of electricity 220VAC. Without proper knowledge of earthing and the risk of AC mains etc, NO child is allowed to work in connection with any electrical & electronic based projects. We stand no responsible for such electrical hazardous power risks such as shocks injuries. All that we mean is to prepare children in learning basics more meaningfully means to avoid just name sacked science fair participations. Let us build scientific India.
1. Clap Switch.
Clap to put on ON or OFF the Light / Fan; as you are aware that these days, lots of people are become helpless and that too when they are becoming aged. This leads to feel cool and sometimes warm and also scared, especially when they are in dark.
So this clap based switch can help them in many ways to operate; many house hold appliances are also well self protected from over usage.
Learn how to make this clap switch and help others, have fun too.

2. Light Sensitive Switch
These we all know, how electrical power is so precious. Though you want to buy power, but there is no power available as much as you require. That’s where power cuts and power holidays have imposed by government as an austerity measure. Then how is the productivity and economical growth is possible? That’s where power saving concepts have came into picture, as we all know that “A Watt you save is Two Watt you produced” so working with the concept of saving, let us build the new ways of POWERFULL Nation without power cuts.
This Light Sensitive Switch is one of the important power saving gadget can be used at every home / industry or places like streets and public.
This works with a sensing device as a L D R (Light Depending Resistor) makes your outside light ON, when it is dark and automatically switches OFF as soon as natural sun light comes up.
Learning this Light Sensitive Switch will help saving lot of power without compromising with the need i.e. in such places where the lighting has to be must provided.
|
3. Water Level Indicator / Controller
As we all know these days so many people are suffering with knee pains and on the other hand water is also very precious which we can’t afford to waste it.
So how do we come out of these difficulties and find solution for this very important water management. Best way is to monitor the sump and over head tank and lift the water when over head tank is going to be empty and stop as soon as the over head tank is about to spill over, so further wastage of water. Remember A drop you save is a drop you produced. And also as we all know prevention is better than cure so why waste and lost, cant we at least have a alarm before the spill over with no much cost, yes possible that is only with your little interest in understanding this tiny project and do it for your home water tank. If you save the water the same may save levies.
|
4. Fire Alarm
See we all have seen so many fire accidents at homes, offices, schools, vehicles, Trains, forests. Once fire accident take place means it is loss of National property loss but how do we minimize before it is massive?
So this fire alarm gadget will help us know when ever there is fire in unwanted places i.e. where ever we keep this gadget by giving us an alarm for now and if you learn this much basic then in the next stage you can also learn developing this project for getting the alarm at remote locations so that right decision making people/system can take instant actions with may be fire dept etc.
So for now I think you will start learning the first stage and save locals with local alarm.
|
5. FM Transmitter
Make your own F.M Radio Station and Transmit your school lessons to all children of the village those who don’t attend schools regularly due various their domestic/family problems. As we have seen though the Government of India is doing a great work to keep up children in the school and make them educated but how ever the change is taking on its own rate so this solution other way around is “Lets educate where they are” through this school FM Radio Transmitter as these days every body using cell phones with a FM radio in it.
"An Idea can change a life and this life may change the world" so let us do this.
|
6. Heart Beat Monitor
When we go Doctor many of them will check our Heart beat rate by keeping stethoscope on our heart or at some place where they get heart pulse and then they count the pulses per minute, but these days many of doctors are counting for just 15sec and then multiplying the count with 4 to get the count for one min may be because of time shortage for them, in such case we can help them with an electronic heart beat monitor for more accurate and details storage facilities for future use.
Doing this kind of projects will help you understand bio medical electronic equipment designs which are very much required to be developed in our country.
|
7. Touch Sensitive Switch
When ever some body touch your door handle or your main gate, if you wanted to have a cool siren with in the home so that some body can attend to it instead always keep locking them, this touch sensitive switch will do the job do it and enjoy.
|
8. Smoke Alarm
As we all know that prevention is better than cure and also no fire with out smoke so sense the smoke and prevent the fire accidents before massive loss of properties and lives
|
10. Audio Amplifier
You all have got audio players in cell phones, mp3 playesr, cd players, walkman and Fm Radios but how ever some time you may like to listen the lesson or music in big way means with load for which there are so many amplifiers available in the market but the one which you make and enjoy will help understanding the principal basics of how the power amplifier will power up you and your knowledge more powerfully.
So can do so many power amplifiers with different power ratings, for different purposes. This will help a great to learn the electronic and communications as with out amplifier no much of electronics will work.
So if you wanted to really understand the how out side world is getting connected through the communications it is better you try building these amplifiers to amplify your own knowledge.
|
11. Regulated Variable power supply unit
Dear all we all know that while learning doing electronics we will be talking about powering the circuits to make them functional for the designed purposes.
And while we are working and developing from scratch lot of times we face problems they are mainly due to impure power so we need a proper pure DC power while we develop the requires circuits, for which we need to build your own DC power supply with voltage variation between 0-30 volts DC and current rating from 0-5 amperes DC. So this Regulated Variable power supply unit will help you building the power supply which is requires for many project developments.
|
12. Gas leakage detectors
These days all our cooking is done in very small tiny kitchens and that too they are powered by Gas booms i.e. cylinders with such a high pressured LPG gas filled in it and there are many chances that the gas may get leaked may be at regulator, tube or in the control knob due to various reasons taking place in our country, for example if somebody boiling the chilled milk just brought from vendor in plastic packets or a packet removed from refrigerator usually what happens is when they keep the milk for boiling outside vessel will drop formatted water drops drop by drop and when they becomes more they can even stop the flame especially when the burner is keep in SIM mode.
That it the room is now full of leaked / un burnt gas and suddenly when catches fire due to various reasons like by switch on the electrical lamp etc it explodes like a bomb and may cause a severe losses.
To avoid all such kind we can make a gas sensing alarm and whenever it find gas which is leaked in the kitchen etc it alarms so that we can call LPG suppliers to take further actions to avoid all such type of massive explosions etc. so let us save our co humans.
