Born in a large middle class agricultultural family at Adavikolanu, West Godavari Dt on July 10th 1954, Ande Seetharamaiah studied hard from the beginning.
He concentrated in studies more to escape from the farm work , as otherwise he would have ended up in it, along with his four other brothers. He got state 3rd rank in 10th class in 1972 and passed with state 21st rank in Intermediate. He got State special merit scholship and passed B.E(Mech) from Andhra Univerity with 2nd rank.
He worked in BHEL computer centre at Trichy and Hyderabad for 16 years before going to USA in ealy 1995. He currnely works as
Systems manager in Singapore. He has two daughters married off who settled in USA with 2 kids each.

After the marriage of his daughters, he started focusing to serve his beloved village. He started Ande Foundation and donated 5 lakhs to setup Safe
drinking water plant in his village with the help of Naandi foundation. He dedicated the plant to the memory of his parents who were instrumental in support of his studies and success.
He donates liberally to various developments and partcipates in devotional activities in the village. He supports young students with their school fees and aims to support them in extra curricular activities like music, dance etc which he thinks are required for the overall development of students.
Being simple and approachable, he mingles with all in the village and aim to serve the elderly in the future. His interests varies across Yoga, Indian history, carnatic music, Annamaiah Keerthanas, Indian philosophy, naturapathy, horticluture, farming etc and like to be more active in such activities when he retires at the village. |
