| About IISF 2015 |
| India International Science Festival (IISF 2015), a joint event of Ministry of Science and Technology (DST, DBT and DSIR/CSIR) and Ministry of Earth Sciences, is being organized during December 04-08, 2015 at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC) have been chosen as the nodal government institution to organize this mega event in collaboration with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA). IISF aims to provide a single platform to promote interaction among the people and scientists from South Asian Countries to share and spread scientific ideas and discoveries. Around 3500 participants, delegates, invitees, renowned experts are expected to attend various components of IISF 2015.

| IISF 2015 is being organized with the following objectives: |
Exposing the fruits of Science and Technology to the masses
Building strategy to instil scientific temper among the people
Showcasing Indian contributions in the field of S&T over the years
Providing platform to young scientists from South Asian and other neighbouring countries for exchange of knowledge & ideas
Supporting flagship programmes like Make in India, Digital India, Start-up India, Smart Villages, Smart Cities etc. initiated by the Govt. of India

| The events held under IISF 2015 are as follows: |
Young Scientists’ Conference, Industry Academia Conclave National Level Exhibition & Project Competition (NLEPC) under ‘INSPIRE’ Programme of DST, Techno-industry Expo, Science Film Festival, Practical Science Laboratory Demo.
For the intention of IISF2015, fortunately I was able to make a group of fifty students with ten science teachers and visited IISF2015. Thanks Mr Ravikumar.S Correspondent Sri Gowthami Smart School Rajahmundry, Mr Anil Director The Sun School Vigainagaram for making it happen with special thanks to parents of all these children, allowing children for a such long trip of almost nine days.
Children got inspired to great extents, after visiting IISF2015 many children changed their ambitions by choosing science careers. They were interacted with eminent scientist of the country, Director & Chairman of IITs & Union Ministers of Science & technologies.
If you missed IISF2015 there at IIT Delhi, but here you are not. Children hopefully you will make use of all this content which will help you to develop your scientific temperament and the attitude through which you will be next Sir CVRaman / Dr Kalams.
